Under the tutelage of Tulku Lobsang, my introduction to Lu Jong years ago inspired me to study Tantrayana movement in depth. Calm and focused, gentle yet powerful...I had found my core discipline, my Root Teacher, and now build my daily regimen on this foundation. My belief is a strong, healthy body is possible with gentle yet ancient techniques.
Cultural Anthropology, Linguistics & Language studies at NYU and the daughter of an archeologist, I have traveled the world my entire life. Born into an ancestral fusion of Asian, Celt & Cherokee traditions, the healing arts are my lineage and the core of who I am. Appreciation for spiritual-mental-physical connection was instilled from age three when first exposed to yoga and encouraged to meditate. Actually, most of us fell asleep...but it was a start.. Awareness deepened with extensive Buddhist studies, Tai Chi, Yoga, Qi Gong, Calligraphy, Tsa Lung, Tummo and Tog Chod. Western curriculae followed-music, herbalism, energetics, dance-especially Flamenco. My childhood in Spain eventually led to several years teaching in my own NYC dance school.
My 35+ year business career in the art of creating upscale clothing touches yet again upon the human form as ultimate elegance in motion.
Based in New York and the Hamptons, I offer Lu Jong Teacher Trainings and Lessons & am available for groups or seminars. Together we can bring the precious practice of Lu Jong into your life.
